| The background of the oval is filled with zeros and
ones, which can represent either a binary code or a well plate. Some
zeros are colored (as hits on a well plate), and form the letter h and a
part of the letter R. The rendering of the letters S and A resembles a
ligand docked to a protein or two docked proteins. The letter I
(informatics) connects C and Q (cheminformatics and QSAR). The logo can
also remind one of the infinity sign (formed by C and Q), symbolizing
high dimensionality of problems in cheminformatics and QSAR. The letter
I (informatics) dissects the infinity sign, which, by the analogy with
the Gordian knot, could indicate the solution of the high-dimensional
problem. |
