A Manager, Cheminformatics and Support is sought for a
client's European application science group. The successful candidate will have the following
characteristics:
 | At least three years of management experience |
| Computational chemistry or cheminformatics background (Ph.D. preferred) |
| Scientific software support experience |
| Ability to get things done quickly, successfully, and with the big picture in mind |
| Capable of taking on many different responsibilities with equal proficiency |
| Troubleshooting skills |
| Willing to travel extensively |
The manager of customer support will be responsible for the following:
| Manage a group of application support scientists, reporting to the director of support |
| Supervise and take part in the handling of incoming customer support requests |
| Manage internal and external software development projects |
| Coordination and scheduling of customer visits and training for the group |
| Liaise with the European sales team |
| Pro-actively interact with customers to ensure their success with our products |
